an abcess is an infection, which will spread into your blood stream and cause a secondary infection somewhere else, like your lungs, or brain, or heart. You should probably get it cleaned out soon.

get some anti biotics to prevent infection. they shouldn't pull a tooth till the inflammation has died down anyway

The tooth might not need to be pulled, but it does need to be checked out. You might be able to save the tooth and get root canal work done. GO TO THE DENTIST!. . If you leave it untreated, it could kill you. Yes it could. That is one nasty infection that causes the abscess.

The pus will come out and you will be poisoned if swallowed and possibly die, that's why it hurts so much because of the poisoned pus.

The infection will continue to get worse and you will need to be put on antibiotics until the infection goes away. If the tooth has a cavity/infection it will continue to abcess. You will need to get a root canal if the tooth can be saved. If not, you will have to get it extracted. If you let it continue for too long it can and will effect your health. Root canals are exspensive but, if you want to save your tooth you will want to do this procedure.
