How can I cash a tax refund check?

you shouldn't have any trouble cashing it anywhere. the funds are guaranteed whether you have an account or not. at one of those 'check cashing' places where all ya need is an ID.

Usually you can just go to a local gas station and cash it or a corner store. depending on how much it is you might have to go early in the morning.When they have enough money in the drawer.

Use it to open a bank account, if it is large enough. Otherwise, you will need to cash it at a bank and probably pay a fee, or sign it over to a friend that has a bank account and have them cash it for you.

With photo ID, Amscot (they're everywhere), will cash it for a 2% fee.. Look around and you will find liquor stores and others who will cash it for less.. My advice is to use your refund money to open a bank account and you won't have this problem in the future.. . Dick

sign the check over to someone else that does have a banking account to cash.
