How can I improve my memory for consistently performing tasks?

I would just try repeating to your self over and over I need to do x. I think it is especially helpful if you do something like When I go to the grocery store I need to remember to buy eggs. Or After I clean the house I need to do the laundry. So that when you when the event happens it will trigger the memory.

I wrote down a good answer for this question, but I got distracted and don't remember where I put it! I can so totally relate! It's not for everyone, but if nothing else works, there are medications that can help. There are potential side effects, but they change my ability to stay focused on one thing until it is finished, before I go to the next thing. Sometimes, dietary changes and suppliments can be helpful too. Look up ADD in adults.
