Why does the arm bone, specifically the humerus, feel painful or have tingling sensations after being hit?

Take a look at your other answer, but.... . There's a nerve called the ULNAR NERVE that runs through your elbow. It's protected pretty well except at the spot where the elbow bends. When you whack that spot, you get that tingly pain everyone calls a "funny bone."

The Ulnar nerve (which is an extension of the Brachial nerve) has no protection in that area. Literally, you have bone-nerve-skin. No protection at all. So, when you hit it, you are directly smacking the core nerve, which kinda hurts but the superstimulation makes it feel "funny".
