How can I resolve inaccuracies on my credit report?

The best thing is to write to the credit reporting agency about the dispute and let them know the incorrectness of the dispute. And also the credit report would have the telephone number of the company( of which you have the dispute with). Call them up and inform them about the dispute

Call the creditor and try to deal with them first. If you owe them pay them and then ask them to remove the report. If you don't owe them than hash it out and ask them to remove it. If the item is more than 7 years old ask the credit reporting agency to remove it.
