a person can get affected to AIDS under three circumstances:. 1. through unsafe sex. 2. through (HIV)infected blood transfusion or using the infected needle. 3. through an HIV affected pregnant mother to her unborn child

if u prick a needle which was used by a HIV patient.u get it.that is why the doctors use the disposable needles. but there r careless doctors.
