How can I prevent MSN Messenger from being used on computers in my office?

Capture the port MSN is using and llocking all Outgoing TCP connections to Remote Port that MSN is accessing would do your job. MSN usually uses port 569.

Unfortunately, blocking the port won't be sufficient, since people can also use the web version of messenger, "MSN Web Messenger".. . I've included the link so you'll know what you're up against.. . I guess my recommendation is to install something which will log all Internet traffic, and then circulate a report every month or so. Your router may already have a logging facility which you could turn on.
