My experience with this current Administration is that they don't seem to respond to written correspondence. Other Administrations were more responsive and had their interns (at least) respond.

It takes forever, meaning never... but you could get one from one of the people who is hired to answer mail. (a secretary)

Well, if you are waiting for a return phone call, or for a letter answered or something, I would imagine that it can take a very long time.. My daughter wrote a letter to one of our state senators about 6 months ago, and has still not gotten any sort of a reply.. It will probably take quite a while, if you get anything back at all.
