I'm experiencing cold symptoms with sweating and a sore throat, what condition might I have?

The cold sweats means fever, which also means that your body is infected (either with bacteria or virus).. . Check out the link below, which my doctor recommended to me. It's got a self-diagnosis tool to help you figure out what you've got.

You have strep throat, get checked out by a doctor.

A cold, maybe the flu. Nothing to worry about, just take it easy the next few days, drink lots of fluids, etc.

If you have a fever you may have strip throat. You will need to see a doctor and get some antibiotics.

You more than likely have fever, make sure you take Tylenol or something for fever to keep the it down. You could have Tonsilitous, you get fever and a sore throat with that. If your fever keeps coming back for more than 4 or 5 days you need to go to the doctor and get some antibiotics
