Why are some questions considered inappropriate on Yahoo Answers?

Not all questions are removed by this site! Answers Support; many of them are removed by the questioners themselves.. . Some people remove their own questions either because a) they screwed them up and don't want them posted anymore or b) they have received a satisfactory answer and don't want the question to stay available.

I think that some people have second thoughts after posting a question. They might think it's too controversial, for example.
