Best answer
For me, I day-dream on purpose. When you day-dream you forget about the hiccups, and breathe normal, thus, getting rid of the hiccups. For anyone who reads this, you really should try this; IT WORKS!

I think the only way to really get rid of the hiccups is to get the bejeezus scared out of you, which is kind of hard to do, since you would already know that you were going to be scared...I don't believe there is any known legit cure for the hiccups...
