Your penis grows as your body matures. During puberty, men experience the largest gains in body size as they become men. The penis can continue to grow until late teens as it is one of the last areas of the male body to completely develop. All men are different and mature at different rates.

Its mainly muscle. Muscles grow with the rest of your body and when you get old they start weakening. It really goes downhill after 50 I was told by a doctor friend who was in a wierd mood sharing trivial knowledge with everyone who didnt run to fast.
