How can I safely and effectively remove a boil from under my armpit without visiting a doctor?

If the boil does not drain on it's own accord with simple moist heat, you really should see a doctor about treatment. Do not try to lance or puncture the boil as the risk of severe infection is very high. If you have redness, worseing swelling, or fever and or chills, do not hesitate - get to a doctor.

I also get boils.Try a warm wet washcloth with a heating pad to bring it to a "head" I personally take a straight pin and sterilize it with a lighter or matches and then gently squeeze the pus out.Don't mess with it if it is extremely sore and red.It will eventually come to a head and drain.They are bothersome.
