I'm planning a renaissance faire at school and I might organize a costume contest. I want to know how to set it up.

Maybe you can make your costume contest into a modeling contest, the reason being there may be a lack of participation/costumes to judge from. By providing the costumes, you can actively involve the audience while describing the clothes in detail with historical knowledge and stuff. Of course, the judging does not need to be very serious or objective. Good luck with your renaissance fair, and have fun!

Yaaayyy!!You need to make flyers and tell people when it is and also,if there are restrictions and dress codes for the contest let people know. You'll have to get prizes if your going to have them, and set up a voting booth so students can vote for the best costume.Get those little voting sheets and set up a certain time to have contestants show off their costumes.
