How do I resolve a frozen iPod Nano screen while still being able to hear and control music playback?

Try resetting it. Turn the hold switch on and off and then hold the Menu and the center select button until the Apple logo is on the screen.

You return it to the store you bought it at and demand that they tell you what is wrong with it and how to fix it or give you your money back. If they won't contact the company that made the Ipod Nano and have them correct the problem. If neither of these things work take it back to the store and in front of the manager sit the Nano on the floor and slam your foot on it and say, "I will never shop here again and I will tell your my friends to not shop here either."

I have a video Ipod but this happened to me before. . The thing i did that works is plug it into the charger. That should work :-)
