Why is the series Combat no longer shown on TV?

it's on one of the encore channels around 5 am,e.s.t.. . 2/3 times a week

it probably had the fate taht most new tv shows do. everyone watches the firest episdoe but then get bored of it so after a few episodes people start wathcing it and the company loses money thus resulting in the cancellation of the show

That really takes me back. I used to love watching it with Vic Morrow. Wanted to be just like him. Strong but caring.. . Well, for one thing, society goes through phases when it comes to TV shows. One season it will be Westerns, another season, Science Fiction shows, then Crime Drama, then Comedy. And on and on. Right now, especially right now, because of the war going on, I think War films are out of favor with the public.

I think they have Combat on dvd at Barnes and Noble maybe. Here's a national cable guide for Vic Morrow on tv this month: http://www.tv-now.com/stars/vicmor.html Combat is featured on Encore Action, American Life,and Movieplex.
