You place the dry ice or ice cube on the dent and hold it there with a washcloth (or whatever type of cloth) over it and it "should" pop out. I have tried it, but it didn't work for me. You should try paintless dent removal-it's pretty cheap.

i have no clue, but I can give you this: On a hot day place an ice cube on the dent and it will pop back out.
