This is very simple:. The simian society allows a great many actions that our so called civilized society doesn't.. For example, touching ones private parts in public, having sex in public...heck doing anything that feels good in public.. Parents want their kids to see the monkeys but not to say later "Well I say the monkeys do it!". At least that has always been my slant on the issue; if I am wrong please tell me.

Maybe the monkeys are sick of being gawked at, pointed at, laughed at and yelled at, so they're getting all those annoying people back by doing things that make them blush! Anyway, when do you suggest they do these things, seeing as they are on view so much of the time?
