How can I clear the search bar on the Yahoo homepage?

go to TOOLS on top of your page, click on the Internet Options, click on Clear History and answer Yes when asked. while you are at it, on the same page, click on Delete Files and then click on Delete Cookies.

I have answered this question quite a few times in the last couple of days so here it is again.. . Double click the search bar...put mouse pointer on 1st item there and start pressing the delete key on your keyboard.

There should be a Edit icon on top of your page. Click on that and it will bring up a box with the icons. You can remove or add contents from there. If you don't have a edit icon, click on 'View', then Toolbar Options and from there check to see what's checked off. You can click on the checked items. That will uncheck what you don't want. . Either this or the 'Edit' icon will help.
