because they are unable to tax it so they can't get a cut and there is a lot of money in marijuana and they want in.

Because there are people that don't want it legalized. What they don't understand is how much money the government would earn off of legalizing and therefore taxing it.

they're stupid, and don't realize how much cash they could be making off it...they think that everyone's gonna die, even though for a fact, no one at all's ever died from a marijuana overdose...

marijuana is a dangerous drug. Many try to compare marijuana and cigarettes, and although they are both dangerous, marijuanna is a far more dangerous drug. It alters the mind in ways that are far too dangerous to wholly legalize. Some states are allowing medical marijuana, but for the populace it will remain out of reach.

Actually, marijuana is no worse than alchohol, in my opinion alchohol is much worse, and it has been proven by scientists that smoking marijuana actually HELPS your lungs if your a cigarette smoker, because the little balloons in your lungs fill up with more air and get cleaned out when you smoke marijuana, therefore reducing the tar build up and canceling out cigarette's dangerous effects, i don't care if you believe me or not but its the truth
