If you're illegal, you're illegal. The law is the law...Cuban, Irish, Egyptian, Salvadoranian, etc...the law is the law.

Cubans can legally immigrate to the U.S. if they have either the equivlent of a HS diploma or job skills that took two years to acquire. They then qualify for the lottery for a green card. If they win the lottery they can take a spouse and dependent children with them. See the web site for the Department of Immigration.

The laws are the same for Cubans as it is for any other nationality. Illegal is illegal.

If they're caught on the sea, they're shipped back to Cuba. If they get to US soil, they can apply for asylum. If they get in and are caught at a later date, they will be deported.
