Amtrak (NO C) is more reliable and comfortable than a bus... It'll cost a bit, but its worth it.. . Its the only choice due to where you are heading. There's a commuter agency gap south of Providence.

You could do Amtrak (www.amtrak.com) or take one of those chinese buses out of South Station (affordable and ok)
