Because the more you try to be like everyone else, the more you lose your own unique characteristics. You'll find that the majority of people are often misguided but put up a good front. Popularity means nothing. Manage the relationships that you enjoy and leave popularity to the drama queen who'll be working at Taco Bell in 10 years.

you are trying to hard to please everyone that you dont know and ignoring the friends you already have, so yes they will walk away from you. they like you for who you are not for who you are trying to be!!. . If you are not broke do not try to fix yourself. (think about it)

Often you have to choose: be popular, or be yourself. When you're older choosing to be yourself is easier. As a teen in high school, isolation or having few friends is not good.. . How can you be popular if you're not popular naturally? I guess you copy those who are popular. Try to seem happy and confident. People like that.. . Hopefully, you don't have to try.

Why should you try to be popular? Only insecure people always crave the nods and approval of others. Try to be yourself. Not some insincere crazy being for the sake of others.

When you like yourself, and be confident in everything, others will accept you easier, Don't TRY to be popular. What a waste of time. I think your self esteem needs a little help. I mean that nicely.

popular people are phoney they are people who are shallow and only care about what you look like and how much money you have. Not my kinda crowd,I prefer real friends
