How can I gain access to the owner's folder without a password?

when you boot up your computer press F8 and select Safe Mode. When the welcome screen pops up select administrator, a window will pop up telling you that you are booting into Safe Mode, select yes. Once you have done that go and select My Computer, select the C: drive or whatever you primary hard drive letter is. Once you have gone into that select the Documents and Settings folder, then you will be able to see all the users folder, including the owner's folder.

i do it from Linux...by mounting the hard disc as a read-only drive
