How can I increase the font size on my screen to make text more readable?

If you're referring to Internet explorer, then click on View > text size > largest.. . Or, if you're referring to text size in windows xp in general, right click on an empty space in your desktop, click on "properties", on the "Appearance" tab click on "font size" and select larger font.

Click on Start/all programs/accessories/accessibility. . and use the magnifier, or run the accessibility wizard to set things up as you like them. Some laptops have a feature automatically installed that brings up a small magnifier when you click the left and right mouse pad buttons together...

If you mean the letter size on web you can click view then text size increase to largest. If you mean for your whole puter then right click desktop click properties the appearance and change font size there
