Why is there a higher percentage of women concerned about men's opinions than the other way around?

Men don't like to express their thoughts or feelings toward other people. They tend to keep it inside . Some men just go on with their lives like it didnt effect them or some bottle it up for soo long until something "huge" happens and they explode, which causes them to express everything they have kept bottled up inside.

Because men generally do not care what others think.. We are generally concerned with taking care of our families.

Women are more cautious about their reputation and how men see them, but on the other hand men are just glad to have women around.

Women are the true hunters in relationships. But, when it comes to movements they are like spiders sitting in webs. So they need all this feed back to see if there is any prey. Or say they are like flowers -- I have been having my troubles with women. My main point is that women go about finding a mate in different ways than men do. Well, so maybe it seems that we don't care what you think.

Not to sound sexist but probably because women spend more time worrying about issues (small or large) then men do.
