Use a "cease and desist form" which is your legal right, and informs collectors that you know your rights, which are that you did not request nor do you require their services, and if they contact you again that you will file against them. It also tells them that you are willing to negotiate with the original source of your debt, which if you have collectors after you, has already been written off, or sold to collecting agencies. I don't remember which website I got the form from, but you should be able to find it in your search under "Cease and Desist" form to send collections agency. Good Luck!
