Well, you can replace the miner subject with about anything you wish. There are always going to be important issues that unfortunately don't get the attention they should.. . I think the main concern with gay marriage is that it leads to a lot of financial changes for our country. For instance, taxes change for those people, health care coverage, etc. It also opens the door for other types of marriages. For instance, one will eventually ask, "if two men can marry, why can't I marry two women?". The bounderies will continue to move. I have mixed feelings on the subject. i personally don't have a problem if gay people want to marry, but some of the other issues make me think a bit more about it.
