I think the only way to do this is to have your phone number unlisted in the phone book. Ask the phone company not to list your number. I believe you have to pay a fee for this, but it would keep you off of the internet. Good luck to you.

I believe you have to contact your telephone service provider, but if it is already online, you may be too late.

call the phone service and it wont take efect till the new phone book comes out , you can your # changed for free, tell them you are being hassled and dont forget to ask it to be privite and unlisted and you want caller ID block also.

ask to get a silent number, before u change it so it doesn't happen again
