Why can't my computer recognize my credit card information when I enter it online?

It is not the computer telling you this. It is the vendor or bank where you are sending the information to. Generally because you are entering the wrong security code.

you must contact you're bank on that one,some times there is a security question that needs answering

Well, take a look at the whole situation.. ARe you saying its a visa, when its a mastercard?. Are your numbers you are entering correct?. Are you inputting the numbers properly, many sites, most of them want you to enter the card numbers without dashes, just as one long number. Is the expiration date being input properly?. Usually they want it it the month year format, such as : 0106 or 01-2006. Is the card expired?. When they ask for the "code" are you turning the card over and looking at the last three numbers, sometimes four at the end of the numbers?. . Is the name on the card exactly as the name you are using on what ever site it is?. . Just go over it all carefully..........many times the zip code of your mailing address is the key factor here.......... . Try it again, and if you still get the same message, turn the card over, and call the number on the back and ask for customer service and tell them what is going on, they'll help you out as they can usually see attempts that were unsecessfully made to use the card.................

Could be a number of reasons.... Contact the sales department via phone and place the order that way.
