How can I extract a song from a streaming video?

what i usually do is save the webpage as a complete html page then it downloads all the files as well. i then go into teh folder that was saved and locate the video. then i rip the music or what i want in software like ulead video studio etc

Most sooundcards provide a recording source which is the current mixed output- for example, some Audigy cards provide "What U Hear"... Basically any streaming or locked audio source can be recorded from here.
