Explain why it is difficult to fold a sheet of paper in half more than 7 times

Seven creases result in a thickness that cannot be folded.. Isn't it neat?

You can actually only fold a piece of paper on HALF once. But creasing it more than seven times is NOT impossible, it's just really, really hard. Close to impossible though.

well...i folded a piece of paper 10 times.So...it really is'ent impossible.

because it gets so thick it becomes a compressed, thick sheet of paper

They say that it is impossible when i tried it i see that it becomes too hard to fold and it it is impossible to fold it cause of the thickness of the paper
