Why do some non-white individuals become upset when someone makes a comment about them?

non-whites can often be extra touchy with comments, I think you will find a lot of it dates back from the days of the slave trade, the empire, and the days when european society treated them as 2nd class. politicians (mainly labour and lib-dem) love this idea of a multiracial society but nobody has asked if anybody wants it! anti-racism laws were designed to protect minorities, but in many areas, the minority has now become the majority, and the feeling of opression has been transferred from non-white to white in many cases, hence the rise of the BNP. Personally i think its fine to hate anybody you like, as long as you can live with your self, and as long as you can keep your opinions to your self, as you can be sure that somebody will always be offended by something you say, in this ridiculous politically correct Blair world that we live in!

There's a difference between somebody being too sensitive, and somebody baiting somebody and, upon being criticised, claiming that the other person is too sensitive. And 'Machiavellian' is typically spelt with two l's near the end.

Just felt like saying that cuz its so true in so many different ways, but as far as white people being labled as the only racist , thats nonsense. I have friends that cant stand white people . Hey what do you say when a white person honks their horn behind you while driving? " Quit honking honkey... lol okay but foreal though its not even white vs blk . Most native americans , well at least the elders and stuff, really cant stand white people either. Whites might feel that way because of the B.S yall "ancestors" did w/ slavery and all that crap. Dare I say that it might be racism. But to start accusing them of hypocricy is racism in itself. They see racism from white people, and they sometimes feel that they have to counter racism with racism. If the white majority learned to truly appreciate these folks as equal human beings, then perhaps that wouldn't be a question. But it's up to the white majority to stop their sometimes racist attitudes. For the most part, we do see these folks as equal, but realize that organizations such as the Klu Klux Klan still exist. There will always be racism and intolerance.

as far as culture it seems it is okay to make fun of anyone except blacks. not only in society but on tv as well. . . you can thank liberal whites for that since they gave them groups such as the NAACP, tv shows where it's comically funny to bash the white co-stars on the shows, and they give them all the action or serious roles in movies to make them seem more dominant as people. . . Basically they are making them catch up for things they feel were wrong during the slave days.
