The instruction book will explain. Check that your computer has a USB port. This will be the lead that links your computer to the camera, and this is normally included wiht the camera.

Since it seems like you want an easy to use digital camera, I recommend the Canon Elph. It lets you click pictures, lets you shoot video snippets and then you can download them easily to your PC via a USB cable. The best part is that the camera is small and fits well in your palm.. To download pictures, ensure that the(any) camera supports USB and that your PC has a USB port (mostly all do).You may or may not need the camera software to view the pictures.. For printing, I recommend that you go to a shop like Walmart or Walgreens or dozen others use their kiosks that will take the digital card from your camera and print the pictures out. They are cheap and good!

Everything that you need to download the pics to your PC will come with the camera. The typcial digital camera comes with a USB cable to connect the camera to the PC. It also will ship with some software for managing the photos on your PC.. . One accessory that you might consider when you buy the camera is a Memory reader. You can leave the memory reader connected to your PC and when you want to download photos you just pop the memory card out of the camera and into the memory reader. The PC sees the memory card as another drive and you can drag and drop the photos from the memory card to the PC's desktop or folders.. . The reader I have is from Sandisk:. http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1153)-Readers_Writers_and_Adapters.aspx

it depends on what kind of camera you want to get. . most cameras come with a card, so you need a card reader, but your computer might have one on it already. some other cameras can hook up to your computer via a USB cord. from there, a folder will probably open up, or you can find USB ports in "my computer". but all of that would probably be in the manual.
