increases temperature and speeds up the centrifugal force between the molecules. Also it weakens the chemical bonding of the individual H2O^0 neutral molecules.

Pure water has the effect of changing from a liquid to a gas.. . City water is sometimes boiled because of a break in a water main. The boiling would kill bacteria that may have gotten into the system through the break.. . Well water that is boiled will leave behind the minerals that were dissolved in the water.
