Why do some black people support people of other races when they face discrimination or struggle?

Not sure you perception is accurate.. . People are more inclined to aid people in trouble that are trying to help themselves than they are to help people who demand to be helped, but that is cultural not racial.. . For the hurricane relief in the American South-land last year, $billions were raised across the country, and the government managed to divert almost all the aid into the pockets of two major corporations, even stealing resources that did nt come from taxes.. . Considering the people in charge, there may be a lot of racism involved, but it is not from the public.

I'm white and you're right. It seems to me that white people think that they're better than any other race on this rock.I'm sorry. I wish it were different. But hey, I can't be the only white person who cares for people regardless of color. If you're an ***hole it doesn't matter what you look like or where you come from.

Where do you live? Not everyone is the same, some people shown more emotion than others, it doesn't mean they don't care. I know plenty of "blacks" who are absolute sweethearts and a share who are cold hearted bastards, but that goes with every race.

I can't understand this, I think that black folks need to stop it! We need to get our stuff together, let the other races fight their own battles we have too much going on in our communities to be fighting for people who in general don't giving a flying flip about us!

I'm black, my grandmother is white and my grandfather is black. so I've seen alot of both races but what i have notice is blacks will help you faster than whites will. me , myself I'll help anyone and i see no color when i look at you, all i see is a child of god and i hope i will never need any ones help outside my family because this is a cold, cold world.

The black people have been so misjudged by the white people that when it happens to another race they are automatically drawn to them. When someone hurts you, you feel bad so when the same person hurts someone else, it's only through the grace of God that you go to their defense. Nobody wants to be ridiculed and people should stop and think how they would feel if it was done to them. Prejudice is also a sin against God.

Black people will help others if and when they can. Many find God and will go out of their way to help all races. You may have met a few who don't think like that. Most blacks are very good people.
