Do you changed the version of media player? Try to install the last version of Windows media player.

right hit my computer >peoperties> hardware > device manager. hit on ur dvd then when u see the dvd drive right hit that hit properties > dvd region > how many time does it say .>>changes remaining 4 ? or none if none someone try to break in the region code now its broken it it is not set for ur region it is lock on to other region so you cant play any more dvd
