How can we bridge the gap between the sexes?

Both sides need to compromise alittle more. No one is better than the other. "Pick your fights" think about the long term effect of a disagreement....is it really that important? If not, then back away..if it is, then standfirm.

You can not reduce the difference, but you can change the way that difference is used to divide and make it more about acceptance of that difference.

Why would anybody in their right mind want to reduce the differences? It's the differences that make the world go 'round! Feminists want to reduce the differences and look what happend (and still happens) to them...they become angry, unhappy and live unfulfilling lives. That should teach you something. Men and women were designed the way they were because that's how they best function. It's extreme arrogance to think we know better how we should have been made. It would be like letting your child tell you when he should brush his teath and go to bed...bass-ackwards.

i think the fact that they are opposite sexes, means there will always be a vaste difference.. but there is no need to limit our differences, because we should all have some unique qualities to our personalities, that we can learn to accept and explore.

I am cynical and don't think we can. I don't think we ever will. Men are hardwired to oppress and connive, and women have learned to connive and manipulate as a survival tactic. Peace between the sexes will depend on 1) men stopping the bull___, and then 2) women forgiving and trusting them. . . After the long legacy in mankind of men taking advantage of women, and especially after these very dark past twenty or so years with men in America basically treating women like garbage, the first option might be possible but I think the second one is a pipe dream.. . By 2020 women will NEVER trust men again. That's a fact.
