Well you need to see a doctor about it. I have had 5 knee surgeries and each time before surgery they tell me to put heat on for 20 minutes then ice for 20 minutes so you might try this and see if it helps and stay off it.. Good Luck

you may need to alternate with ice and heat. best to see a doctor to know for sure.
