NO! the teflon is a harmful cancer causing chemical ... and as someone already said, if its overheated it breaks down and can be VERY harmful!

No ...once the teflon begins to flake ..get a new pan..without teflon...just by pamspray insted . . the reason it eating teflon is like eating oil or anything like that...because it's oil based ..and is made of oil..k

No, I would replace them or remove all the teflon and then use the bare pans. I have heard that teflon can give off a toxic chemical if it is overheated so I don't think it is good to eat it if it is flaking off into the food.
