There are many types of Christians (Baptists, Catholics, Penecostals, Church of Christ etc.) You may be referring to Penecostals. I think some Penecostals are very strict in their beliefs that a woman should not wear a mans clothing (pants) or wear makeup. This rule does not, however, reflect on all Christian beliefs.
