Personally, i use on-line shopping to help narrow the focus of what i want and if it's conveniently locally available I'll pick it up at the retail store because you see all other types of merchandise while shopping and the return if necessary is just on the next trip out, besides you avoid the shipping charges.. . edit: nice answer niki

Online shopping is easier to do at home--you can visit any store without having to drive there...plus you can order from companies that you would have never even known about without the computer. The downsides are: you must pay for shipping, you cant try anything on or see it in person, to find out answers about the products you have to email or call the company instead of just asking a sales associate, if you need to return something you have to send it back.

Basically more Profit will go through the online shopping than going to the actual shop and choosing what do you like. On online shopping they will show you only pictures, but in reality you will never know what you getting it. In fact when you go through one of the store and see what you are buying. . And sometime you do have to wait really really long for your merchandise, while on traditional shop you can just go there and pick it up.
