How can I effectively remove ink stains from a laptop?

Try Goo-Gone. Test in an inconspicuous spot first. Use sparingly. Goo gone is usually sold at drugstores and hardware stores.

If this ink marks are on the casing, don't use an abrasive as that will scuff the casing. Instead, turn off the computer, get some rubbing alcohol, dabble it on a folder paper towel, and wipe down the casing with some force. It may take a few applications. Make sure you don't soak the paper towel. Just make sure it's moist. The last thing you want is the rubbing alcohol to run into the electrical components.

rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or hair spray on a cotton ball. . Hair spray works to get ink out of clothes too.

Depends on where they are if on plastic use a plastic cleaner if on the screen get a screen cleaning kit from the computer store....
