What are the reasons why you haven't joined the military?

I already served my time in the US Navy.. It's a great way to serve your country and see the world.

why havent you joined the military? I did. . dont you want to be all you can be? i was, but then i became an Army of one. . see interesting people and kill them? koreans were interesting but the war is over there so i didnt get to kill any. . travel the world and get paid for it? 2 countires wasnt the "world". . get college paid for? show me what college you can attend 4 years for 50 grand and ill show you a few thousand you cant.. . gain valuable experience and life skills? to many experiences that were bad. LOL. . jump out of an airplane? why jump out of an airplane when you can drop off a rope from a helicopter. . serve your country? i served

Already did that. Would consider going back if I weren't an only parent of two children...

21 years, 8 months, 1 day....retire Oct 1, 2006. Served my time. Enjoyed it. Time to move on.. . Hey, I hated airplanes too...especially the lousy A.F. pilots who flew them...that's why I jumped out of them every chance I got. I think they enjoyed seeing how many of us would fall down while we were waiting to jump out. That's why they flew like a roller coaster!

I sure would if I could. I'm too old now. But I would join in a nano second, to free people, or anything else we are needed for. Do you like your freedom of speech? Just wait if Democrats get in and they try to make nice with terrorists, you'll be speaking another language and praying to Allah on your knees 5 times a day. (forced to do so).

I serve my country by unconditionally supporting my husband who's been proving himself since he was able to sign those papers. The best soldiers have good families to support them, be it spouses or family back home.
