Order of Pheonix, because it allowed Harry to see that sometimes adults aren't there to help out when the students need it. It allows them to grow.

The Prisoner of Azkaban - I like it because it focuses on Harry's parents (and their friends), they win the Quittich Cup and there's nifty wizard gadgets! PLus, Snape gets insulted by a piece of paper- can't get much better....

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite Harry Potter book because Harry's classmates finally realize that he has been right about many things. They finally come together as one when he teaches them Defense Against the Dark Arts and they have his back when he takes on the Dark Lord and his Drath Eaters at the Ministry of Magic.

I gotta go with Prisoner of Azkaban too. :) I love Remus, I liked the whole Sirius plot. Seconds is probably Half Blood Prince, even though they killed Dumbledore it just seemed to flow. And I really liked learning about Voldemort.. . My least favorites easily Order of the Phoeniz. By the end, I was wishing someone would AK Harry. He was annoying in that book!

My favorite right now (it always changes each time I read the series!) is Prisoner of Azkaban. . . POA is the last "light" book before the death and doom of the other books. There's no Voldemort (with the exception of the threat of him, as always), there's his first trip to Hogsmeade, getting the Firebolt, and Harry learns who Sirius is. For that brief moment where he thought he could go and live with him, it was his happiest time! I fear Harry hasn't had many other of those moments, nor will he in the imediate future.

Harry Potter and the chambers of secrets. Why? Because i just absolutely loved it. I loved dobey, how the sword came out of the hat which was saying he was a true grithindor and the car. It was really exciting.

the second one because it was teh first one i read and it had a csi-like touch to it (the mirrors that didn't kill the students because they only saw a reflection of the snake...) i thought htat was clever. also, because dobby is freed.
