What are effective methods to stop biting my nails?

Why didn't any one suggest that you go do a very nice manicure on your fingers. Have some designs on them such that you won't bear to bite it off. If you paid for it, that should hold you back while you put your finger in your mouth.

keep yourself busy so you will forget biting your nails... it is psychological and sometimes done... out of boredom or idleness... engage in a more active social work and you will find amazing results

i do it too...and my mom use to slap my hand everytime i did it...but no use ;) i even eat them up....i think its okay...nothing wrong about it...i stopped it when i had my braces on....but now it started again....well...if u have tried to break ur habit since yrs....and still u cudnt do it...then just chill....if that habit has to go...it will go with time...all i can say it...enjoy it as much as u can...coz i do enjoy it....

Here in the USA they make a product to paint on ur fingers that taste terrible.

buy some nail varnish that u cant bite due to taste, or have extensions put on then get used to having beautiful nails, so when urs come through u will admire them and whenever i look at a woman its 1 on the 1st things i look at, there a sign of class to me

I bit my nails until I was 25 and I started getting them professionally done (acrylic). It was the only way I could stop but I have since then started eating more

apply a nail polish so you will feel that it's such a waste to bite it

Select your favourite finger for biting the nail. Go into the toilet & remove your panties. Insert chosen finger into fanny for lubrication & straight up anus as far as possible. Probably won't bite that nail.
