How can I transfer a song from Windows Media Player to the My Music folder on the My Computer icon?

the song must be saved onto your hard drive. if it is, then it should be saved in My Music by default.. . you can do that by (in Windows Media Player 10):. right-clicking on the song currently playing > Save as...

click on my computer. Click on LocalDisk(C:) (your hard drive). Find the folder that the song is located in. While keeping this window open, click on the My Computer icon again. Click on the My Music folder. Now click on the song you want to move (the first thing you opened up) and drag it over to the other window into your My Music folder.

It already is somewhere on your hardrive just hover your mouse above the song in the library and it will tell you where then you can just copy and paste it to my music. you might have to right click and click properties to find out where it is
