Why am I experiencing slow connection speed from my network even though there have been no changes?

It may have nothing to do with your computer at all but the internet connection itself. Meaning if your DSL or broadband could be congested thus affecting your computer spped.

maybe this can help you.... . . OPTIMISE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION . . There are lots of ways to do this but by far the easiest is to run TCP/IP Optimizer. http://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe. . 1. Download and install . 2. Click the General Settings tab and select your Connection Speed (Kbps) . 3. Click Network Adapter and choose the interface you use to connect to the Internet . 4. Check Optimal Settings then Apply . 5. Reboot

slow connection is either because of too mauch traffic, specially while using hub connection. Too much ARP traffic, and also broadcast storms lead to a decreased connection speed. It is better to replace any hub in the network by a switch.

if u'r on the 10 mbps computer, it can be change by going into the network card and changing the speed.
