all George Washington wanted is freedom from religious tyranny. all osama wants is all of our country and all of Americans dead. while he hides, he sends brainwashed agents willing to blow themselves up to do his dirty work.. . even the 'osamas' of this world grow old and sick.

200 years ago, the British were actually trying to find Washington, and they invaded the country he actually lived in, unlike the case with Iraq

George Washington did not bomb innocent civilians to further his cause, Osama did.

George Washington was a visible enemy to the British. He marched on a battle field and fought soldiers. Innocent civilians, including women and children, were not targets. I have a hard time recalling any "heros" from centuries ago that fought their war killing the innocent women and children along the way.

Last time I looked, G Washington had not sent a group of killers into London to target thousands of innocent civilians.

Um. George Washington became the First President years after the Declaration of Independance was issued. Not sure if you realize that GW did not sign the Dec. and wasn't one of the "founding fathers" - England had already lost the war - therefore, control of the colonies - before GW was made President.. . Why don't you read up on US history prior to making Osama out to be a hero.

Oh really, did George Washington's spiritual advisor write religious justifications for killing women and children? How heroic.. An ahole stays an ahole no matter how hard you try to draw a moral equivalence to make it seem ok.

George Washington led a revolt against the British because americans were being taxed too much without any representation. Osama Bin Laudin finances acts of disruption anywhere, against infidels. The only way anybody could see him as a hero would be to join his religous sect. There is no comparison possible.

Hmmmm. . George Washington was elected by the citizens as leader of a country that sought freedom to live as they see fit. Freedom of thought, freedom of Religion...... Osama Bin Laden leads a stateless organization that uses terror and violence to impose his religous zeal upon the world.. Sure...if Fundamental Islam becomes the rule of the world ... men (the only ones that will have any relevance in such a world) will probably worship Osama Bin Laden as a Hero... much like Lenin and Stalin were held in such esteem during Soviet Times.
