How can I get rid of white spots on my face and what could be causing them?

What you have may be a fungus. Go see a pharmacist. This is a common skin problem in Singapore and more pharmacy's can provide a product that will remove the spots.

could be you have gotten too much sun.the pigment in your face has died as a direct result of the sun.just apply a spf 30 to your face everytime you go out into the sun.your spots will go away in a few weeks.

White spots can be caused by sun but I've noticed in several people that they get them pretty bad by eating lots of salty things, Lemons, pickles, twang.....Eating these things or salty items on a regular basis (everyday) can be the cause. Once you stop they kind of fade away and disappear..but if you aren't eating those things then yes you should see a doc. as soon as you can.

If it is sun spots it is a fungus, you can actually put Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo on them let it sit for a few mins and rinse. Repeat this for a few days and it will clear up. I live at the beach this is very common here. I also get them.
